This is a once in a lifetime experience. To travel with Roke and Zoe who do everything possible to make the trip a special experience is a delight. From selecting hotels with charm, location and standards to seeing that everyones food needs are met, they both went out of their way to make this India trip meet everyones expectations. Travel in India is not easy Roke and Zoe made it as easy as possible. This was my fourth trip to India and one of the best.

This was a trip of a lifetime!! But be forewarned, this is not a trip of comfort and leisure. It is a trip of adventure and awe. You will be covering a lot of territory. Your senses will be bombarded by the intensity, the beauty, the shocking realities all around you. It's a country rich in culture, colors & scents, it's foods rich with spicy flavors and aromas. It's people an assorted blend - the friendly children, the curious strangers, the pushy merchants, the hungry beggars, the colorfully garbed holy men - all add to the powerfulness of the experience.

You will see the stark realities of poverty & pollution, witness the power of spiritual faith with all it's festivals & rituals, see incredible ancient architecture & craftsmanship, be amazed by the many cows & monkeys free to roam the urban environment, face the crazy traffic that defies logic, start to notice the cultural differences of the various cities & states. And if you're lucky, you'll go to the Pushkar Camel Festival which I can't even describe. It's something you have to experience.

For your time in India it's as though you're submerged in a totally different reality. It is at times, difficult. It is at times, out of your comfort zone. It challenges you to expand your understanding of yourself and the world. It is an incredible opportunity to absorb the experience that is India. You will never forget it.

Roke and Zoe are tremendous guides, helping to get you oriented, assisting with language, cultural issues, even personal dynamics issues {although those try to be avoided}. They take charge and keep the group and the luggage together even in the most chaotic situations. They know what foods to order, where the ATM is, where to find a bathroom, taking an interest in each persons opinions & comfort. Between Roke's perspective & knowledge of her homeland and Zoe's perspective as a Westerner, they combine to show you a trip unlike any other. I highly recommend this trip to those that want authentic Indian experience.
